Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

I experience the same behavior when enabling compiz from gnome-appearance-properties on Gutsy Tribe 5 that others do with desktop-effects as reported in Bug #102309. Before I enable compiz, I have more than one workspace. After I enable compiz, I have only one workspace. After I disable compiz, I still have only one workspace. I'm opening a new bug since this behavior had previously been blamed on desktop-effects.
