Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

After the latest update (whatever is available as of the time of writing this), compiz benchmarks have come down quite a bit. I used to average over 400- 450 range. I am now pushing 260-280. I tried the benchmarks as soon as X was up and running with compiz. The difference is between the last package and the current one.

I have a NVIDIA 6600GT, and am using nvidia-glx

xorg.cong hasnt been updated between the compiz revisions.

The benchmark tool is useless. As long as you don't notice it running slowly it's not a problem.

Changed in compiz:

Actually i do notice it slower, the more i use it the slower it tends to get. Also, alot of effects now have a black window with it.. like the animation /genie minimize/restore for example. It shows a little black part while in transition. This wasnt there about 2 weeks ago.
