cant open any pps files with OpenOffice and the system crash

Bug Description
I received pps files by evolution and I was able to see without any problem, now
after openoffice open the file and I can see the slides when i tried to run the
presentation the unit freezes and the only solution is reboot. this is p2.3 w/ 2.3mhz and ati video card
