404 on a few packages with apt-get upgrade

Bug Description

I just did :
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
and I get this.

It seems that the French repository list of packages has been updated a lot earlier than the French repository packages.
Is it OK ?
A few minutes I would have understood, but why can't you upgrade the packages *before* the list ?

The packages are finally on the French server.
But anyway, wasn't it an error ?

You're right, this happens because the package index was synced before the packages, this is actually quite common with some mirrors.

I'm closing this bug as invalid, since the issue was solved but there's no ubuntu package involved, but i think if you still believe this should be solved once for all, creating a blueprint to improve the repository mirroring mechanisms and/or file priorities would be the way to go, but that's just me.

I totally understand my "bug" report is invalid.
I just didn't know much about the way mirrors are synced, so I thought it might have been possible that there had been something wrong with the packages transfer.
Anyway, thanks for your answer.

Well, three times in a week, it's kinda boring.
I would like to know whether there would be someone able to explain me the whole syncing mechanism.
Because I am pretty sure there is a reason why packages are synced at last, so I would really like to know more about it.
