Bug Description

several clean installs of 6.06, 6.10, and 7.04 off the LiveCDs and Alternate CDs.

the Motherboard is a Tyan Tiger 133 that uses the KT133Chipset.
All I know is that I under Knoppix and Redhat they work but I perfer the support community and the look/feel of Ubuntu more.

I tried lspci under Ubuntu and it found nothing not one entry so I used dmesg and lshw. Which I have saved to a file and I'm going to try and attach in .txt along with the Redhat lspci (-n, -vv, -b), lshw, and dmesg. I thought by comparing the 2 reports, you could findout what drivers aren't being loaded. But I can't seem to see a place to attach the files.

thank you for your time and effort.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
