Bug Description

In the /etc/dbus-1/system, the file gnome-power-manager.conf references the object org.gnome.PowerManager
but the file /usr/share/dbus-1/services/gnome-power-manager.service references the service Name=org.freedesktop.PowerManagement

Extracts from /etc/dbus-1/system.d/gnome-power-manager.conf :
              <allow own="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <allow send_destination="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <allow send_interface="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <allow own="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <allow send_destination="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <allow send_interface="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <deny own="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <deny send_destination="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>
              <deny send_interface="org.gnome.PowerManager"/>

Extract from /usr/share/dbus-1/services/gnome-power-manager.service:
              [D-BUS Service]
              Name=org.freedesktop.PowerManagement
              Exec=/usr/bin/gnome-power-manager

i'm not really sure where that file in /etc comes from as our package explicitly removes it during build ... intrestingly dpkg claims it belongs to the current package even though if you run a dpkg -c on the .deb package you wont find it (and there is no maintainer script installing anything like it) smells a bit like a leftover form a former package version. is that a fresh gutsy install or an upgrade ?

It's an upgrade from Feisty.

The file in /etc/dbus-1/system.d is quite old :
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 711 2006-08-30 16:21 gnome-power-manager.conf
