Bug Description

To reproduce boot a live session amd64 version of lubuntu mount a filesystem in pcmanfm on the left side bar by clicking on it in the places menu. It will mount then go to this filesystem and try to create a new file or write data to it. I get the error Error opening file '/media/lubuntu/61d4ba96-45cf-4b52-b7df-17bcff423c6b/canhazwrite': Permission denied when trying to create a new file canhazwrite on this small sd card on my system.

Description: Ubuntu Utopic Unicorn (development branch)
Release: 14.10

lxpolkit:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 0.4.9.2+git20140410-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
     0.4.9.2+git20140410-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ utopic/universe amd64 Packages

I expected to be able to write to filesystems on the live session like ubuntu and other systems like I normally can. Instead I get permission denied in the lubuntu live session user.

I also mounted 3 external hard drives in the live session from another computer with uefi might need to try to reproduce with latest daily on laptop again but this might not be so common. The computer I first produced this bug on was using a legacy bios however.

Changed in lxsession (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
