Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Hi!

I'm on Xubuntu 8.04 and get exactly the same error message. Any clues?

Thanks,

Thanks for your confirmation of the issue. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any workaround.

Quod Libet 2.0 has recently been released [1]. You may have success building the new version from source, as it may have fixed the problem. It won't be included in Intrepid due to Feature Freeze.

I have actually been able to run Quod Libet 2.0 from comand line but i'm still having some problems with install script (I think dependencies and stuff).

Cheers,

This error does not exist in 2.0
Yesterday I worked with ../formats/xiph.py(patched it for oga), so its present and loaded.
