Bug Description

using krillin RTM build
ubuntu-ui-toolkit: 1.1.1214+14.10.20140826-0ubuntu1

I cannot copy/paste between text fields in the same app (1367814) but this bug is to report that I also cannot copy/paste between text fields in different apps. Not sure if it's related.

Steps:
- open webbrowser app and navigate to a url
- select in the url field and long press and "Copy" from the menu
- opening the messaging-app
- create a new message
- go to the text field and long press

Expected results:
- popup menu should display "paste" option and I should be able to paste what was copied from the browser

Actual results:
- "paste" menu is not enabled in the text field for the messaging-app

I can only say the same as in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/+bug/1367814: it works on desktop, and not on the device. The clipboard operations are in QtUbuntu, upstream's text input uses it to detect whether can Paste. If there's nothing in clipboard, or at least if the QPA reports an empty clipboard, there will be no Paste available.

Flashed mako with devel-proposed version 239 and it works there.

But it does not work with krillin flashed with version 32 from devel-proposed.

Build trunk versions of qtmir, unity8 and qtubuntu to debug it and now it's working fine on krillin as well... :-/
