Bug Description

Installed Gutsy tribe 5 + updates till now (sept 3rd).
When printer is turned on, system recognises the printer and assigns a driver automatically. This is the driver for a b/w laser printer (Brother DCP-1200) while the printer, DCP-115C is a color inkjet multifunctional, similar to MCP-210 etc.
No proper driver found in foomatic, so reverting to installation instructions found here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=105703
This installs a lpr driver + cupswrapper provided by the manufacturer.
This gives a new locally installed printer with a (seemingly) wrong device uri which I can't reproduce right now, something ending in lp0, instead of the proper uri: usb://Brother/DCP-115C
Both with the seemingly wrong as the proper uri and in both cases the ppd provided by the cupswrapper/lpr driver testpages disappear somewhere.
In all tests paper set to a4 first. Testpages are issued both from the Printer Configuration Tool as from localhost:631/printers.
Printers appear idle till you send a testpage. It shows up for a little while in the joblist and then disappears.
