Bug Description

Music would pause when BT headset is switched off or when BT is turned off on krillin.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Pair the bluetooth headset with krillin
2. Start playing music in music-app from music scope
3. Now turn off the bluetooth headset during playback.

Observe that music-app would stop the playback and there is no way to resume it. To start the playback again, music-app have to be killed and relaunched.

The same scenario is reproducible when you turn off the bluetooth on krillin itself.

I don't have a BT headset to try to reproduce this with, but I did try to turn off BT like you suggested on krillin and I couldn't reproduce this bug on RTM image 46.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
I can confirm that when using the package music-app on utopic #251 using the steps provided by
I Ahmad that I can reproduce the bug. Therefore I have set this bug to confirmed.

I also noted that when I reconnected the bluetooth speaker I also had to restart the music app. Therefore it appears when default audio device changes the app needs to be restarted.

Note that selecting another track doesn't resolve the issue (a full restart of the app is required) and that changing the audio device to/from headphones and phone speaker works correctly.

Marking pulseaudio as also affects as the issue is likely there.

The expected behaviour is when the device is playing music and it is unpaired/paired with a bluetooth speaker for the audio to be paused. But then if the user selects play it should then play out of the correct device (which doesn't currently work as it requires an app restart)

Marking as invalid for music-app as this is a platform issue.

Adding a bugtask for media-hub, as I believe this is a combination of both media-hub and pulseaudio, but still need to investigate the issue. Assigning that to myself so I can revisit this with Jim.

no longer affects: pulseaudio
