Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20

I finally got this to work but here is what had happened:

I was doing the update from the gui app in GNOME. I would get this error:

E:dpkg was interupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to
correct the problem.
E:_cache->open() failed, please report.

then I would start the process over, the update would look like it installed, and would ask to be rebooted. When I rebooted it would crash to the CLI, and try to run fsck. fsck would fail and ask me to run it without parameters . Doing so would come up with inode errors and it listed the packages that were being updated. I would type 'y' to try to rewrite them, and type 'y' again to fix it. then reboot and get into GNOME, and start the whole process over again.

I some how got it to update. I didn't change anything and it just worked.
