Cannot rename or rm on ftp

Bug Description
Attemting to rename a directory or removing it on bazaar.
Rename gives me an error:
Couldn't rename file "/~lcid-
Attemting to rmdir:
Couldn't remove directory: Failure

The SFTP server to bazaar.
In order to rename your branches, you need to go through the launchpad.net web UI.
