After install cant restart GRUB Error 21

Bug Description

After I install unbutu and restart my PC I can't run any system.
it starts up normaly with:

Search for Boot Record on IDE 0 ... OK
GRUB Loading stage 1.5.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 21

I see no way to start my PC how can I delate unbute.

How can I make my PC reddy for use?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

yeah - I got this same error after trying to install ubuntu onto a separate disk - I have vista 64 (p.o.s. edition) and now cannot access either the fresh install of ubuntu or vista.
