LiveCD installer won't use on-cd repo

Bug Description
When using apt-get update to get the latest&greatest package list, the LiveCd installer does not respect them.
Assigning to superm1 since he knows what this bug report is actually about ;)

In theory this is committed to be fixed in the next iso build. Once unionfs stuff is sorted out, we'll know for sure.
