Bug Description
i tried to install acroread (i have non-free software enabled) and could not find it in gutsy.
my error or is it not available anymore?
acroread and support for the forms is important for many (evince does support some forms, i know).
but:
i need acroread because it is the only program i can find to cut (and later paste) parts (images, drawings) from a pdf. all the regular ubuntu pdf readers do not support a select and cut (or did i not check one?)
help is appreciated, but i suggest you put it back in (it downloaded it on feisty, i think and remember some difficulties with it..)
To post a comment you must log in.
Adobe doesn't allow the redistribution of the Acrobat reader so Ubuntu can't ship it legally, not even in multiverse.
You have to download it from the Abobe site yourself.
