Bug Description

Binary package hint: liferea

Contrary to what I expect of a GNOME application, Liferea doesn't provide a keyboard shortcut for closing the window (ie. minimizing to the tray icon.) I would expect that I could just press Ctrl-W and have the window disappear, but alas, it does not, forcing me to grab the mouse and click on the "close" icon.

This is using Feisty and Liferea 1.2.10.

Works for me, are you sure you haven't messed up some keyboard shortcuts?

Confirmed here with gutsy up-to-date and liferea 1.4.1.

Which version do you have, Erik?

I've forwarded this upstream, and they don't feel like fixing this, since Ctrl+W is for documents (such as OOo, Office...) and liferea doesn't fit in that category.
Look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_keyboard_shortcuts#Documents for it.

Marking as won't fix then.

Cheers,
Emilio
