Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22

reiserfs is slow in 2.6.22-11-xen kernel due to a debug option being on. I see this in dmesg:

ReiserFS: dm-120: warning: CONFIG_REISERFS_CHECK is set ON

and reiserfs write performance is about 5MB/sec

Confirmed. I noticed the same.

Reiser is dog slow!

Worth raising severity to medium I think.
