Bug Description

Binary package hint: rt2x00-source

I have an rt71? card which worked as soon as I put it in, but I prefer the rt2x00 driver, so through synaptics I installed rt2x00-source and rebooted (not because of the install, other reasons) and on boot I get kernel panic, VFS, unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0). Everything on the system was upto date as of 12PM Central 9/16/07 including kernel and default modules

I'm not sure if it was a package conflict or what, but the problem no longer exists after a fresh install and recent gutsy updates

Marking as invalid as this problem seems to be fixed on the user's side and, from what I can see, not related to rt2x00.

Changed in rt2x00:
status: New → Invalid
