Bug Description
Binary package hint: gthumb
After I reported bug #138311 I've had a change of heart and think we should solve a usability issue before I can follow up on that other bug (it turns out partial files were in fact created, but I didn't realise gThumb was still working, I thought it had hung.)
So, now my RFE is for a progress bar for longer processes, with a cancel button of course.
I think an application like gThumb will be used more and more to make PDFs with large groups of images as people discover gnome's PDF printer. This will often create very long processes and users need to see what's happening so they don't kill the app thinking it's hung.
