Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
My home directory is prepended to the automatically generated URL for reporting a bug, like this:
/home/rodger/"https:/
It's easy enough to make it work by removing the prepended junk and the ". at the end

Thank you for your bug. Could you run gconf-editor and look at the /desktop/ gnome/url- handlers/ http/command key value? That looks like a known firefox bug which is setting the wrong value to it. If you use firefox does using "firefox %s" make it work correctly?
