Bug Description

Binary package hint: blt

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
blt: Depends: libx11/6 but it is not installable or
xlibs (> 4.1.0) but it is not installable

Slash ("/") in the blt dependencies libx11/6 is false. Should it be libx11-6. Therefore blt package unistallable

I would say that it is pretty crucial to fix this, because the package is totally uninstallable currently. Also as 'apt-get upgrade' would like to upgrade to this package...

Yes,
well that might not be the case for newer releases, but as I am using Dapper LTS (Long-Term Support), it would be nice if the support actually was long term... :)

the dependencies of blt are correct (apt-cache show blt); it looks like the status file /var/lib/dpkg/status is corrupted.

This hasn't been touched in a while...

Lassi: Is this still a problem for you?

Matthias: Any steps to take to fix the (suspected to be) corrupted file? Any idea how the file may have been corrupted?
