v3.3.2 has been released on 29th October 2011.
v3.4.0 has been released on 14th September 2012.
v3.4.1 has been released on 20th October 2012.
v3.5.0 has been released on 24th December 2012, and it is the latest one.

Thanks for reporting this issue.

I found an upstream bug report talking about packaging the latest version in Debian, so I have attached a bug watch. Looks like there was some work done on this, though unfortunately not recently.

As the bug watch update said a new version of angband has been uploaded to Debian. angband 1:3.5.1-2 has been synced and is currently waiting in Ubuntu Vivid Proposed, but it looks like it failed to build on ppc64el.

New version of packages are added to the current Ubuntu development release, which at the moment is Ubuntu Vivid.

If you would like a newer version in an older Ubuntu release, you may want to look into:
Stable Release Upgrades [1] (though they are mainly for fixing critical issues with a known fix)
Backports [2] for getting a newer version than what was available when the that release of Ubuntu was released.
