Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" [WWW] http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems. [WWW] http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

i will do my best

tested on firefox>location box
many times i only want one word from the location address,

for example: in the location box http://www.yahoo.com/
double-click on yahoo to highlight only the yahoo word will not work

so you want a behaviour similar to what can be found in epiphany, that's when you click 2 times over the url just one word is selected, and when click 3 times all the text will be selected?

i don't know if firefox supposed to do that, but there's no harm in ask. please confirm if that's what you want so we can edit the bug title to something more descriptive.

another problem, if the user is clicking "www" or "http" and the keyboard is not is English.

to solve this problem the keyboard need to change automatically to English if the user is clicking "www" or "http",(after that) if the user is clicking space or... the keyboard return back
i think it's another bug (tested on firefox and openoffice) ?

we follow upstream decision for settings and look & feel. if you want this changed you need to lobby for it upstream on forums.mozillazine.org and if lots of people agree finally file an enhancement bug upstream in bugzilla.mozilla.org.

Thanks,
