Gutsy (7.10) amd-64 Tribe5, updated to 2007-09-19

Showing of callouts is too slow, when compared to 7.04 where is was very instant.

Callouts should be displayed faster.

No, This bug is resolved in Gutsy final. :))
Bug should be resolved.

Now it displays callouts too low below cursor when panel is at the bottom of the screen.
But it is a job for another bug. :)
