Bug Description

Running the network upgrade after installing from the beta 5 iso (required for my hardware apparently). This and several other linux-generic-* packages affected. I won't do a separate report on each since I am new to ubuntu and have yet to figure out how to get better detail for you so won't waste your time.

Please close this. I am about 100% certain it is related to the same issue I opened in #144657, which is now resolved.
