Bug Description

Binary package hint: gaim

Offline message (i.e. the one that was sent to me when I was offline) come with incorrect encoding.

For example:

äà íå.. ñ ïåäàëÿìè êðó÷å :)
âî âòîðíèê åçäèëè â øóâàëîâñêèé ïàðê. òåìíîòèùå , ãðÿçèùå.. êðóòà.. Áåç ôàðû òàì óáèööà

(this was a Russian message)

When the message is re-sent online - everything is OK.

Can you try if is still an issue with pidgin? gaim is unmaintained now.
