Bug Description
When I start kubuntu when my screen is Off, KDM/X will be displayed in very bad resolution (640x480)
I must restart the X server to get the real resolution (I tried to modify the resolution with XRandr etc, but it couldn't get over 640x480)
My screen is a 19'' iiyama with vga connector. My card is GeForce 7600GS with nvidia-glx-new drivers
It was the same problem with my ATI radeon (fglrx or radeon drivers) under debian and ubuntu
I already posted a bug on kde.org : http://
It seems it was a configuration problem.

Please attach your X server configuration file (/etc/X11/ xorg.conf) and X server log file (/var/log/ Xorg.0. log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the "Attachment:" box below. Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf and let Xorg autodetect your display and video card? Please also attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt. Thanks in advance.
