Bug Description

Binary package hint: libnss-ldap

Once you install the package libnss-ldap, no /etc/libnss-ldap.conf is created, so the configuration is not saved. If you try to execute: dpkg-reconfigure libnss-ldap

nothing happens.

Starting in Gutsy, libnss-ldap and libpam-ldap will use /etc/ldap.conf as the upstream author originally intended.

The debconf in now in ldap-auth-config.

dpkg-reconfigure ldap-auth-config reconfigures /etc/ldap.conf.
