Needing a method to insert URL to the "main" launchpad page for the context

Bug Description

Like canonical_url(context), we may also need a main_canonical_url(context) which would always direct to the main launchpad.net web site, instead of depending on the configuration (production, edge, staging, demo, beta).

Not sure how easy this is because it involves processing multiple different LP configurations.

canonical_url does support a rootsite argument that is used to set the host: The tales formatter fmt:link:host can also be used.

Curtis, the bug specifically describes using a different config, and not a different rootsite.

I think we can close this with edge going: for staging etc its ok to generate links within staging IMNSHO.
