There is no useful information in this report. Odd though that is says it crashed but there is no coredump/stacktrace. Did gdm crash at some point, requiring a forced restart?

Changed in gdm (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

No apparent crash at all, I just entered my password and logged in as usual. Then I got a problem report on the desktop so I decided to file the report. I agree it's invalid, more of an apport problem perhaps?

I think it happens with me sometimes. When I login to the desktop, it crashes, reload and asks me to report the problem. I usually ignore that but might be the same issue that Lance is facing!

Maybe I should file a bug next time to see what is going on :)
