I can confirm this bug. 64-Bit Installation was done with VMware Player 6.0.5.
I'll add installer data and kernel log.

By "stops" after "reverting the lockdown", do you mean the ubiquity window is still there and shows only that message, with no further progress, or do you mean there is no window on screen anymore?

By "stops" I mean that the ubiquity window simply disappears, no notification is given, and it just sits there with a dead wallpaper.

In order to have any clues of what might have happened, I had to drop to TTY1 and go through the logs to find out.

In my case the installation runs in an timeout while "step_before = StepUserInfo" (screenshot: http://de.zimagez.com/zimage/screenshot-24022015-212516.php).
Something was killed (window output) and after that the installation continue up to this screen (screenshot: http://de.zimagez.com/zimage/screenshot-24022015-213132.php)

So, there was no window anymore.
