Sync wmcube 1.0.1-1 (universe) from Debian unstable (main)

I took a look at the CHANGES file, and it looks like there are some new upstream features with this release. As we are currently in a feature freeze, can you please provide a feature freeze exception in the bug description, as described here [1]? Thanks. :)

If I'm wrong about there being new features, please let me know that instead.

The new upstream release consists only of applying patches already in the Debian package and updating the documentation accordingly, so there are no new features.

Fair enough! I'll do a test build and sync if it's good.

    - New patch; avoid hyphen-used-as-minus-sign Lintian warning.

    - Update override_dh_auto_install target to set installation
      directories. (These settings were originally in
      debian/patches/update_makefile.patch, which upstream applied
      in part. Since these settings are more Debian-specific, I'm
      moving this to debian/rules.)
