Bug Description

[regression] Mir servers can't run any more on Ubuntu Core (since r2408 or something that landed last night).

Yesterday everything worked fine. But now servers fail with:
/apps/mir-demos/current/mir_proving_server: /apps/mir/0.13.0/lib/libmirclient.so.8: version `MIR_CLIENT_8.4' not found (required by /apps/mir-demos/current/mir_proving_server)
/apps/mir-demos/current/mir_proving_server: /apps/mir/0.13.0/lib/libmirclient.so.8: version `MIR_CLIENT_8.4' not found (required by /apps/mir/0.13.0/lib/libmirserver.so.31)
/apps/mir-demos/current/mir_proving_server: /apps/mir/0.13.0/lib/libmirclient.so.8: version `MIR_CLIENT_DETAIL_8' not found (required by /apps/mir/0.13.0/lib/libmirserver.so.31)

This is madness we don't expect the 0.12 libraries to be forward compatible with 0.13 executables

MIR_CLIENT_8.4 is only missing with 0.13 executables against 0.12 libraries - because it was introduced in 0.13

Yes indeed. Ubuntu Core was getting a mix of Mir 0.12 and 0.13. That's what I saw.

Changed in mir:
milestone: 0.13.0 → none
