once i upgrade to linux-image-2.6.22-12-generic it breaks wireless and Nvidia graphics

Bug Description

Hi,

Once i upgrade to linux-image-2.6.22-12-generic from linux-image-2.6.22-11-generic wireless and Nvidia 8400M GT stops working in Gusty Gibbon. The driver currently used is.

Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 Network connection driver for linux

Nvidia accelerated Graphics driver

Also had same problem on booting into 2.6.22-12; Nvidia not recognised and Netgear WG311T Wireless PCI Adaptor not correctly recognised in Hardware and therefore also not available in Network.

The further updates to the 2.6.22.12 kernel seem to have eliminated both the problems, Nvidia and Wireless network, in my system.

You must also have installed corresponding versions of linux-ubuntu-modules and linux-restricted-modules. Sometimes there is a gap between when the kernel is released and when these 2 dependent packages land in the archive.
