acer 5310 aspire: no sound, no wlan

I can't activate sound and wlan on my acer 5310.
This may be a result of non-disclosure contract
between acer, intel and ms.

Both WLAN and sound card also not working with Gutsy beta.

Sound works (although not perfectly) with newer alsa version or with drivers from realtek:

WLAN tested also with ndiswrapper.

Cable modem Atlanta Webstar EPC2100R2 works out-of-the-box after enabling roaming mode.

After upgrading to Alsa 1.0.15 - sound works:
sudo apt-get linux-backports-modules-generic- THAT SAVE ME! /AND THIS ALSO/:

NOTE: Webstar modem must not be connected on USB port, but wlan on left side behind 2 usb ports!

Can this bug be closed already? There are comments suggesting that sound works. Wlan should be reported as a separate bug.
Output of lspci -vv is missing anyway.
