using md will give error message

Binary package hint: debian-installer

hi
i tried to install kubuntu / ubuntu with the alternative cd
while creating md array for my two identical SATA drives i got this message:
"no raid partition available" i press continue and finish and the array was there
no problem...
the installation continued perfectly

i fogot to mention that the hard drive were already "formated" (i cleared the MBR using testdisk with no data writen on them)
