HP Pavilion dv6408 Fiesty Won't Install

Bug Description

HP Pavilion dv6480: AMD64 Turion
Neither Feisty Desktop 64bit or 32bit will install on this machine. Installation hangs at (64bit) "Loading Devices" message, and (32bit) "Starting GDM" message. Sorry about the non-exact messages. I'll try Gusty now.

I think our machines are quite different but I got gutsy up and running on a "HP Pavilion 6525sc". I got working sound, direct rendering with 90 FPS in games etc. Maybe you should post more details about the computer, like what graphics card do you have?

Gusty didn't install either. It hangs at "Setting System Clock".

Video is nvidia however in most cases, the installation halts even before GDM is started. I figured posting the processor type would be a lead.

AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56 1.80 GHz.
NVidia GeForce Go 6150
