Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Ubuntu 7.04, RB 0.10.0, iPod 4G 40GB.

When moving a large number of files to the iPod via RB, if the iPod runs out of space a pop-up error window will open on every song that still needs to be transfered over. This caused X to crash (since I still had probably 20 GB to go!), resulting in a sudden restart of my system. Ideally only one pop-up error would show.

Thank you for your bug. Whatever rhythmbox does xorg should not crash, that's not a bug of rhythmbox. Do you have easy steps to trigger the issue? Does it happen every time? Do you have anything to /var/log/messages /var/log/syslog /var/log/Xorg.0.log about the issue?
