Bug Description

Binary package hint: rekall

The latest stable of rekall at http://www.rekallrevealed.org is 2.4.3, but the package with that name only gives me 2.2.6 (which has a debilitating bug).

The latest stable release is 2.4.5 and has been for some time. It does however appear development of this application is stalled. It would be very useful to have this release in the repositories as the earlier version does have serious bugs and building from source is difficult

The developers have now released source code for 2.4.6 which supposedly builds with Gutsy. However my initial attempts at a build have failed. As the 2.2.6 binary is broken in Gutsy there is still no way to migrate from Fiesty if you need to use Rekall.
