Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xgl

I was consistently seeing gdm's login prompt on one monitor (as it should be) but getting panels and maximised windows spanning both monitors (similar to bug #139313) after I logged in. Logging out/in didn't fix it, neither did rebooting. Creating ~/.config/xserver-xgl/disable fixed the problem; I'm now using the nVidia composite support.

xserver-xgl version 1:1.1.99.1~git20070727-0ubuntu3

We already pass +xinerama as a startup option to Xgl; clearly this isn't enough.
