As a work around please try to delete the .config/deluge, be sure Deluge is not running

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

cd .config/deluge
rm -fr *

and restart Deluge

Same problem here.
deluge was already running with a torrent.
The crash occurred when adding a new torrent from Firefox, after I had selected the directory to save the files.
My platform is amd64.

I don't know if the "apport" crash report has been correctly attached to this bug. If not, this is a launchpad bug.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Deluge has had significant code changes with 1.1.2.dfsg-1, available in Ubuntu Jaunty. Could you please test with this version to see if the problem still exists? You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
