To reproduce open mate-tweak and and click on panel layout click save when you are asked to authenticate by putting in the password click cancel a system notification will come up saying the panel config is saved when you click cancel.

I expected to not get a notification saying the config file is saved when I click cancel. Instead a notifiaction saying panel config is saved when I clicked cancel which should not show up.
