Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
I'm running the latest version of the Kernel, I just updated now (September 27, 2007), and in my alsamixer it shows the driver as:
Card: HDA Intel
Chip: Conexant CX20551 (Waikiki)
And I have everything set to full volume, and I'm not getting any sound at all. It works fine with Windows XP, and in XP Device Manager it shows it as Conexant HD Audio.
I've tried recompiling my kernel with the fixed DSDT file, and that didn't work.
Tried adding: option snd-hda-intel model=3stack to my /etc/modprobe.
Made sure all volume bars were on highest level in both alsamixer and regular sound settings.
Please help me, if you've solved this problem before.
Thanks,
Jengerer
Sorry, there's a typo in the title. It's a Satellite P105-S6024, not a P106. Sorry for that.
