Bug Description
Used restricted package manager to install latest nvidia drivers. Error returned after it tried to install. Bringing up the restricted package manager again it says the nvidia driver is enabled. However, running Cedega video test fails on 3d and unable to start desktop effects saying it could not launch menu item.

Same thing man,
It says:
E: /var/cache/ apt/archives/ nvidia- glx-new_ 100.14. 19+2.6. 22.4-13. 6_amd64. deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/bin/ nvidia- settings' , which is also in package nvidia-settings
and then the terminal error too. How do we fix this?
By the way, I have a nforce4 geforce 6100/405 motherboard chipset.
