Thanks for reporting. I can also reproduce the issue with image created on 08/21. And browser will only crash when choose "Accept this certificate permanently". If choose "Accept this certificate temporarily for this session", everything is okay.

I find that the crash is not because choosing "Accept this certificate
permanently", but it happens if you move mouse or press tab key to any of the three choice items after the dialog popup asking you to accept the certificate.

Hi, carl. I reopened the bug for I encountered it with the image of 11/22/07 on CB, there are some features to describe the bug and may help you to solve it.
    1. When I open the website https://mail.google.com, a dialog box will appear, the title of it is “Website Certified by an Unknown Authority”
    2. The browser will not crash if the cursor is not in the rectangle area, that is inside the dialogue box “Website Certified by an Unknown Authority”, and below the button of “Examine Certificate…”, upon the button of “cancel” and “ok”, I call the area “A” for convenience.
    3. If I do not move the cursor in that area “A”, the browser will not crash. one way to workaround this bug is then I click “menutoolstoolspreferences”, another dialog box appear. Then I close it, and the browser will not crash anymore, even I move the cursor to the area “A”.
    Thank you!
