Bug Description

apache2-mpm-prefork was previously a transitional package and now no longer exists, so ltsp-cluster-control becomes uninstallable on wily. This is blocking the newest apache2 from migrating to wily.

Please remove the dependency on apache2-mpm-prefork.

An even better option is to use dh-apache2 as documented at https://wiki.debian.org/Apache/PackagingFor24#Web_Applications_in_a_nutshell_.28with_dh_apache2.29

Then you can just Recommend: apache2, allowing users greater flexibility if they configure apache2 themselves (without the apache2 package) or want to use another web server.

Milestoning for 15.07 so I can work on the new apache2 in time for Wily feature freeze.

If I get time I'll look into this myself, so please coordinate here.

Thanks.

This bug was fixed in the package ltsp-cluster-control - 2.0.3-0ubuntu2

---------------
ltsp-cluster-control (2.0.3-0ubuntu2) wily; urgency=medium

  * Depend on apache2 directly instead of the apache2-mpm-prefork
transitional package which has now been removed in Apache 2.4 (LP:
    #1460588).
