Bug Description

This feature adds support for FSP EPOW (Early Power Off Warning) and DPO (Delayed Power Off) events for PowerNV platform. Small description of these events follows as below:
On FSP based POWER systems EPOW events are generated to notify about various critical system conditions that need system shutdown. Few examples of these conditions are high ambient temperature or system running on UPS power with low UPS battery. DPO event is generated in response to admin initiated system shutdown request.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1469771/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Is this needed for any other series other than 15.10? v3.19, v3.16 etc?

No. 15.10 is our only target at the moment.

Validated EPOW, DPO support with Ubuntu 15.10 beta release (kernel 4.2.0-12) and it works fine.
