Bug Description

Currently, the date format used in the revision log window is "<weekday> <year>-<month>-<day> <h>:<m>:<s> <timezone>". This is clearly too verbose, and makes for a wider and more cluttered interface.

I propose using a simplified format, like "<year>-<month>-<day> <h>:<m>", localized to fit the user's timezone.

Here's a patch that simplifies the format a lot.

I guess this bug has been fixed (at least there's no Date column in the History View).

There is, although it's hidden by default. You can make it appear using View -> Show Date Column. Furthermore, the date format has been simplified, so this bug should definitely be closed.
