I have uploaded new package with some bug fixes from 0.9.3 beta version and this include some crash fixes. Could you test this packages when they build in my PPA:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/lure/ubuntu gutsy main restricted universe multiverse

Same problem here. Both showfoto and digikam crash (should I say krash :) upon exit

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
